Poem I wrote, one of my favorites .

I saw the light shining ever so bright. The light sparkled mesmerizing. I followed it out of the dark tunnel out of my tight. breaking down past decisions slowly devising- a master plan fly from this torment wind catch my kite. Denied true teachings/ before I knew they were that- truth... Surprising. After thinking it through I began - realizing- that all I need is in front of me. green pastures- grass grow tall- tree bare fruit- food for all. Food is life, knowledge is power savor each- don't devour. Time
passes slowly by he hour- filth wash away- clouds provide a shower. flowers bloom- beautiful- Destroy nor consume- that which not belongs to you- or face eternal doom. Evaporate the shed blood- rest peacefully buried beneath mud. Be proactive stay far from dud- choose not work and you choose not eat- you have given evil victory all suffer from your defeat.

Grandparent's day Poem... yet to be named.

Grand Parents, those dear and loved.
Sent to guide us from God above.

They know what’s right, they comfort us.
Even when we whine and fuss.

Their scintillate smiles shine like the shimmering sun above,
Reflecting on the innocent faces of the youth, pure as a dove.

Sit back with couth, and lend them your ear.
Their heart's speak soft, gentle and clear.

Thank God you have them, and preserve their essence.
Always listen to their loving life lessons.

Display to them your assured affection.
They’re a glorious gift, close to perfection.

Student Success

We are students, but more than that, we are people. People have one thing, a life. A life is an entity of the things we deal with and do. In this life success needs to be bound to people. These days we have more and more failures in life, careless, low-life, and inconsiderate beings. If it were up to me, the world would be separated to go getters and losers. I ask myself: Why would anyone ever want to be a loser? I think I have a theory... People don't want to be losers, they just don't know how to be winners. If you fail over and over again it becomes accepted, where it should be rejected. Now and days every child is "special". These children are not special, to be SPECIAL you need to actually be SPECIAL not just because you are a child are you special. I believe that if rewards were harder to come by, then people would try harder. Why work for something if you can have it for free? I have said it once, and I will say it again... "If a tree does not bear good fruit chop it down and use it as fire wood."

Students....

We have become Obese as a Dixie-Nation. It seems as if everyday the loads of calories are being hoarded in our intestines. Shall we make the right food choices? Or be so fat we lose our voices? A high percentage of fat Americans have been rejected from the military because they're OBESE, these kind of people are the ones who have to buy two air plane tickets for one person. I mean really, obesity comes with so many downers. I speak the truth. Obesity is the SECOND preventable cause of death in the U.S while smoking holds number ONE. What would be the difference in me going up to a smoker and saying to the particular person "You're going to die if you keep that up" and me going to a fat person and saying the same thing? There is none. I rest my case.

Candace Starling

As I'm sure most of you know, Candace Starling was in an automobile accident involving a pine tree and a deer. The deer ran out in front of her, with a quick motion she swerved the vehicle trying to prevent an accident. Unexpectedly Candace lost control of her vehicle as is swerved out of control. There was nothing she could but ride it out. Candace ran through a barb wire fence and uprooted a Pine tree. The airbags deployed and she was spared. Fortunately there was not a person in the passengers seat or they would have been smashed into oblivion. Candace was trapped in her vehicle as she waited for help. She had her cell phone on hand and dialed the fire department. With a quick response they arrived to save the day. It's a blessing to all of us that young Candace lives to fight another day. May she be equipped with a quick recovery, and never have another accident as tragic again.. Although it could've been worse...

SACS Accreditation March 16th

On March the 16th of this year, our school will be facing SACS accreditation. Be on your best behavior and don't screw things up. Let us not be impudent whelps, but civilized human beings. Perhaps we will represent our school with pride and dignity. If we are to be respected as a whole, then the majority must pull their own weight.
